The Hollyhock Madonna series (2021) employs anthotyping, a Victorian photographic process that uses the photosensitive properties of anthocyanin pigments in flowers to create unique prints through sustained exposure of a 'positive' to the sunlight. The resulting print is sealed in an encaustic (wax) layer to protect from UV rays. Hang indoors away from direct UV light. This print will fade slightly & BEAUTIFULLY over time.
